We held the first session of the revived ThinkSpace Learning Community on January 29th, 2016 at Iowa State University to discuss how we can help grow and enrich our learning community of passionate students, instructors, staff, and faculty members. We brought in people from all levels of experience with ThinkSpace to collaborate on how we could better cultivate a dialogue on the topics that matter to you the most. Here are some of the things you said:
- You want to know how ThinkSpace is going. What’s new? What’s next? How can you help?
- You want to know everything ThinkSpace has to offer. Between our many components and supported disciplines, you want to see new features and new ways to use ThinkSpace.
- You want to see how other people are using ThinkSpace. Collaboration sparks creativity. We can’t wait to see what solutions you come up while working together.
- How-Tos
- Educational Articles
- Interviews
- Testimonials
- Developer feedback
Based on your feedback, we will be releasing a ThinkSpace Newsletter the first week of each month to give you updates, community spotlights, feature highlights, and much more. Furthermore, our ThinkSpace Learning Community will be meeting once a month to bring everyone together and collaborate on how we can continue to involve our community and improve ThinkSpace. This is also a chance to talk to the ThinkSpace team directly and ask questions, provide feedback, or help come up with solutions to the problems facing ThinkSpace. We are excited to collaborate with you because we know there is much to gain when we work together. ThinkSpace began with bringing educators together, and we know this is the future of ThinkSpace as well.
